8-WEEK COURSE - STUDENT SHOWCASE DATE: NOVEMBER 22ND & 23RD
Join us for “Theatrical Choices in Your Improv”, an 8-week class that dives deep into the tools, tips, and techniques that make audiences lean in and say, “Whoa… that felt scripted!” (in the best way possible).
 
This is a toolkit class. Every week gives you new techniques that you can immediately apply—even if you have a show that night. We’re talking skills that elevate your choices, deepen your scenes, and bring an extra layer of emotional truth, theatricality, and comedic timing to your work.
 
Expect plenty of scene reps. Because the best way to grow is by doing. You’ll get on your feet every class, applying new concepts in real-time with thoughtful feedback and clear goals.
 
This class is perfect for improvisers who want to:
• Make bold, grounded, and memorable character choices
• Bring heart, sincerity, and theatricality to even the silliest scenes
• Explore the craft that makes good scenes great
 
Whether you’re a performer looking to deepen your acting chops, or a comedy lover wanting to connect your choices with something more resonant, this class will sharpen your instincts and stretch your stagecraft.
 
Prerequisites: FOR AGES 18+ ONLY. Must have completed OKC Improv's Level 3 or gain permission for the instructor. To gain permission please email educationdirector@okcimprov.com.
Students under 18 years old may participate in our Teen Improv Classes.
