8-WEEK COURSE
Let’s go! Let’s play! Presenting Short Form 1 is the 2nd of a 3 set class to help you polish and hone your short form skills to a sharp and professional level! Short Form improv is one of the most attractive forms of improv for an audience and when it’s done with strong skilled players that know the ins and outs of how a game works and how to squeeze all the comedy out of even the simplest games, it’s mind blowing fun to watch!
 
This course is built to help you discover those hidden secrets between what makes a short form game go from good to great! Become that performer that learns how to present the game, play the game, break the game while also becoming that player that can play any game and crush it!
 
In addition to learning a ton of games and increasing your game repertoire, you can also expect to work on quick character creation, strong purposeful choices, confidence in your improv play, big bold choices and more! Whether you’re wanting to get stronger with your general scene work, thinking quickly on your feet, getting stronger at Grab Bag shows, help with TourCo auditions/shows, wanting to start a troupe or even wanting to create your own original show, this class can help!
 
Prerequisites: FOR AGES 18+ ONLY. Must have completed either OKC Improv's Presenting Short Form 1 (or Advanced Short Form Course) or gain the permission of the instructor. To request permission email educationdirector@okcimprov.com.
Students under 18 years old may participate in our Teen Improv Classes.
