OKC Improv, Oklahoma's premier showcase for improvisational comedy and theater, continues its Spring 2012 Run this weekend with shows this Saturday, March 24 at 8pm and 10pm at Ghostlight Theatre Club (3110 N Walker).

The 8pm opens with OKC-based short form group Take One Improv followed by the darling dames of themed comedy and OKC's first all-female improv troupe, The MiDolls! The 8pm closes out with the nefarious comedy of Villain: The Musical as they create an entire one act musical where the bad guy is always the main character!
At 10pm we've got a special music showcase featuring genre-busting one man band Without a Face making its Oklahoma debut followed by the return of local nerd-pop-folk-rock-hip hop band The Memepunks.
OKC Improv offers weekly improv classes for adults starting Saturday, March 17, 2011, continuing through April 21, 2012 at Ghostlight Theatre Club (3110 N Walker, OKC). The Level 1 Class will take place at 12pm, Level 2 (Monsters Like Us) at 2pm and Level 3 (Blood & Ink) at 4pm. The first class attended is free. $10 for each additional class.
In addition to the normal Saturday Level 1-3 improv classes, OKC Improv will be hosting a series of advanced workshops on Sundays from 12-3pm at Ghostlight Theatre. Advanced Freestyle Rap taught by Buck and Clint Vrazel of Twinprov will take place March 25 followed by Acting for Improvisers taught by local actress, director, and improviser Cristela Carrizales and Clint Vrazel on April 15. Cost for each workshop is $25. Limited spaces available.
