Tickets are $10 each. $5 for improvisers and improv students. Admission is FREE if you're celebrating your birthday with us! Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made via E-Mail at okcimprov@gmail.com or by phone at 405.343.1570. For more information go to http://www.okcimprov.com/.
The 8pm show will start off with performances from our current Level 1 & 2 students followed by the OKC Improv debut of the one-man show “It’s Momma” created by and starring OKC actor/improviser Rory Littleton (Everybody and Their Dog) in which he plays an exuberant woman known as Momma inspired by the many strong female influences in his life. The 8pm closes out with the long awaited return of one of Oklahoma's most acclaimed groups, The Ones Your Mother Warned You About, delivering jazzy relationship-driven comedy.
The 10pm show opens with a performance by our current Level 3 students followed by Tahlequah-based husband and wife duo Red Letters, with their unique brand of playfully dynamic character-driven comedy. The 10pm closes out with the triumphant return of Twinprov. After 3 highly praised shows over the last 4 weeks at the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin, the Kansas City Improv Festival, and Improvaganza: The Hawaii Festival of Improv, twin brothers and OKC Improv Artistic Directors Buck and Clint Vrazel are back to blow minds with their signature Rap-sody show, in which an audience suggestion is dynamically explored and expanded upon through a series of alternating improvised scenes and rap/hip-hop songs. They will be joined on stage by special guest musical accompanist Kyle Gossett (Villain: The Musical) aka Trouble Clef.
OKC Improv concludes its current 6-week session of weekly improv classes for adults this Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Ghostlight Theatre Club (3110 N Walker, OKC).
