OKC Improv, Oklahoma's premiere showcase for improv comedy and theater, continues its 6-week January/February Run at Ghostlight Theatre Club (3110 N Walker) this Saturday, February 5.
The 8pm show kicks off with the world premiere of a brand new collaboration entitled Twnprov-ing The World. Featuring the combined forces of OKC duos Twinprov and Improv-ing the World, the newly forged quartet will attempt to create 300 unique characters in the span of one show. Next up is the jazzy relationship-driven comedy of The Ones Your Mother Warned You About in which 4 improvisers explore the ongoing battle of the sexes through dueling monologues and rich scenes. Closing out the 8pm show will be the world premiere of Fortune's Fools, a new troupe co-produced by OKC Improv and Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, that brings together some of the metro's best actors and improvisers on one stage to create original stories and characters in the style of William Shakespeare.
The 10pm show this week has been canceled.
