OKC Improv, Oklahoma's premiere showcase for improv comedy and theater, begins its 2nd Anniversary Celebration at Ghostlight Theatre Club (3110 N Walker) with two awesome shows this Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 8pm and 10pm. Shows continue at the same times on Nov. 19, 25, 26. Tickets are $10 each. $5 for improvisers and improv students. Admission is FREE if you're celebrating your birthday with us! At 8pm, its our 2nd Ladies of Improv show. Edmond-based teen group Kind of a Big Deal kick things off followed by the return of the generation-spanning comedy of Two's Company as they create an entire fictional family history inspired by a single photograph and Oklahoma's first all-gal improv group, the darling dames of themed comedy, The MiDolls.

At 10pm, we have two college improv troupes, Northeastern State University-based group Homemade Fireworks and the debut of OCU Improv duo Hunter Canedy and Gloria Jones. On
e of the state's premiere troupes, husband and wife duo Red Letters made up of Bryan and Alyssa Buckley, will close out the 10pm show with their unique brand of dynamic and playful character-driven comedy.

Bryan and Alyssa of Red Letters will also be teaching an advanced improv workshop entitled "Unadulterated Fun" the next day from 12-3pm on Sunday, Nov. 13 at Ghostlight Theatre Club (3110 N Walker, OKC). Cost is $25. Other Advanced Workshops (listed below) follow on Nov. 20 and 27. Limited spaces available.
